Quickparts has expanded its US operations with a US$2.5 million investment in new equipment and facility upgrades at its Seattle headquarters, formally establishing the site as an Aerospace & Defence Centre of Excellence. At the same time, the company is launching its Quick Mould rapid tooling solution in North America, after its recent rollout in Europe. Both initiatives aim to accelerate production workflows for aerospace, defence, medical and automotive customers.

The Seattle expansion significantly increases Quickparts’ capacity for high-fidelity investment casting patterns and next-generation stereolithography (SLA) in the Americas. The upgraded site will support a broad range of programmes where dimensional accuracy, repeatability and throughput are essential — including drones, satellites, propulsion systems, aviation structures and defence components. The investment builds on Quickparts’ 35-year record in advanced manufacturing and decades of experience producing precision casting patterns. The company states that the enhanced operation strengthens its ability to support mission-critical programmes requiring consistent performance and reliable supply.

Quick Mould launches in North America

Alongside the Seattle upgrade, Quickparts is introducing its Quick Mould solution to customers across North America. The service, already adopted in Europe, delivers production-grade injection-moulded parts in as little as five days using rapidly machined aluminium tooling and engineering-grade thermoplastics.Engineering teams can use Quick Mould to validate materials earlier, shorten design cycles and respond more quickly to programme changes. The company cites several early results from customer projects, including:

  • same-day design-change cycle using PA66 GF50
  • four-day turnaround for high-stress automotive components
  • redesign, tooling and moulding of a luxury vehicle control button within four days

The dual expansion — increased SLA and casting-pattern capacity in Seattle and the cross-continental availability of Quick Mould — is positioned to support multinational customers working under tight programme timelines.

Broader strategy: “Limitless Manufacturing”

According to CEO Avi Reichental, the investment underscores Quickparts’ long-term strategy to reduce barriers in on-demand manufacturing and provide customers with a unified, end-to-end ecosystem for polymer and metal tooling needs. The expansion also supports the company’s ambition to streamline complex supplier landscapes for aerospace, defence and industrial clients. Quick Mould is now available to customers across North America and Europe.
