The new kit brings together a 152-piece tool selection tailored to maintenance and repair tasks in the aviation sector. Highlights include screwless ratchets with FOD protection, a dedicated aviation bit box, precision and offset screwdrivers, pliers, sockets, a telescopic mirror, and an explosion-proof LED light.

Each tool is housed in colour-coded TCS inlays made of chemical-resistant foam, featuring precision-cut recesses for instant completeness checks. Laser-marked details—for example, socket wrench sizes—further enhance usability, reducing errors and downtime.

Mobility with a Purpose

The tools are supplied in Stahlwille’s 13217 polypropylene trolley, engineered for resistance to aggressive aviation chemicals such as Skydrol. With a load capacity of 60 kg, telescopic handle, side grips, and smooth-running castors, the trolley is built for mobility across demanding maintenance environments. The case layout includes six drawers—three at 30 mm, two at 60 mm, plus a configurable compartment. Each drawer can be removed and used as a standalone toolbox, secured with transparent lids. Two lids are provided as standard; additional units are available for flexible configuration. Security is ensured via a built-in lock system and the option to attach up to three external padlocks.

Systematic Flexibility

Beyond its core setup, the new avionics set is designed with modularity in mind. Using a Lock-Unlock system and lid rail guides, users can expand capacity by attaching compatible top cases such as the 13261 TS and 13262 TS. This modular approach supports tailored workflows, faster setup, and easy adaptation to changing operational requirements. With the 13243a WT/TS Avionik, Stahlwille delivers a comprehensive, safety-driven, and mobile tooling solution that directly addresses the evolving demands of aviation maintenance.
