For the first time at a trade fair in Germany, Rheinmetall will present the Fuchs JAGM, a next-generation rocket interceptor. The Fuchs JAGM is the world's first vehicle equipped with 24 vertically launching guided missiles of the AGM-179 Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) type or Lockheed Martin’s AGM-114L Hellfire Longbow. In combination with its state-of-the-art sensor package, it can identify and engage multiple threats on the battlefield at any time. The Fuchs JAGM is capable of targeting up to 24 main battle tanks as well as aerial threats in rapid succession without reloading.

Concept for networking forces, sensors, and effectors

In times of hybrid warfare, not only the combat units at the front are at risk. Forces and critical infrastructure in the rear are also exposed to numerous threats, from espionage to attacks. To remain operational, extensive networking of sensors, effectors, and forces in large spaces is necessary. Rheinmetall will present such a concept based on the soldier system Gladius 2.0 at Enforce Tac 2026.

New military body armor system

Rheinmetall will also unveil a new military body armor system for the first time. It offers protection against gunfire, stabbing weapons, and explosives. Its modular design allows for adaptable, individually configurable carrying arrangements depending on the mission and location, ensuring optimal comfort.

As defence budgets rise and EU programmes expand, civil technology providers are becoming vital contributors to Europe’s strategic autonomy. The event will act as a neutral platform for dialogue between technology suppliers, integrators, and decision-makers shaping the next generation of European defence capabilities and aims to open doors between civil industry and defence procurement, providing practical insights.

New combat helmet

Rheinmetall Soldier Electronics has also introduced a new combat helmet to its portfolio. The new model features significantly reduced weight while maintaining ballistic performance.

Additional highlights

Other highlights from Rheinmetall at this year's Enforce Tac include:

  • Airborne Vehicle Caracal: The Caracal meets all demands of modern military mobility. It is fast, robust, and versatile. Rheinmetall combines long-standing development expertise from Mercedes Benz with the newly developed superstructure.
  • Squad Support Weapon SSW40: The world’s first automatic, magazine-fed, shoulder-fired grenade launcher for 40 mm ammunition. The weight, dimensions, and handling of the SSW40 are similar to those of assault rifles.
  • Laser/Laser Light Modules and Fire Control Technology: Rheinmetall's laser/laser light modules, such as the VarioRay, the PTAL laser light module developed for pistols, and the modular VTAL laser module designed for special forces, will be showcased at the booth and during live demonstrations in the Enforce Tac Village. Rheinmetall will also display fire control systems like FCS-MR500, FCS-MR800, and FCS-TacRay Ballistic, among other products from Rheinmetall Soldier Electronics.
  • Rapid Obscuring System ROSY: The ROSY rapid smoke protection system protects land, air, and naval vehicles even while in motion by deploying a spontaneous smoke screen. The ROSY_L variant will be displayed on the Caracal at Enforce Tac 2026.
  • Pyrotechnic Special Operations Equipment: This includes the 9-Bang flashbang grenades and the cuboid Spectac, both featuring bottom top venting technology for maximum handling safety.
  • Paramir: The lightweight and compact hand-fired signal rocket is available as a signal flare in various colours and infrared, as well as a smoke signal and NBC signal. The ascent height is approximately 100 metres, with a burn time of around 15 seconds.

Visitors to Enforce Tac 2026 can learn about Rheinmetall's extensive portfolio at booth 426 in Hall 10. At another Enforce Tac stand 310 in the "Armed Forces Area" in Hall 11, Rheinmetall will showcase the next-generation rocket interceptor Fuchs JAGM.
