As the ‘Land Collective Training Partner’, Rheinmetall is supporting the design and delivery of core elements of the programme. Rheinmetall’s share of the contract is valued at nearly one billion euros.

The consortium will begin operational implementation in the summer of 2026, with the service contract spanning a duration of 15 years. The substantial project volume and extensive scope of work will enable Rheinmetall to sustainably expand its local sites, workforce, and industrial supply capacities within the United Kingdom. Over the 15-year contract term, the project will secure and create numerous high-skilled jobs. This applies to Rheinmetall Electronics UK’s headquarters on the Isle of Wight, its Southampton site, and other key strategic locations such as Bristol and Warminster.

Omnia Training and its industrial partners are responsible for the integration and provision of advanced live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) simulation systems. As the ‘Land Collective Training Partner’, Rheinmetall will support the delivery of these capabilities and manage the physical training infrastructure, system configuration, and logistical aspects to support the Army’s collective training.

The United Kingdom is one of Rheinmetall’s strategic core markets in Europe, where the company maintains a strong presence through its subsidiaries and joint ventures. In addition to Rheinmetall Electronics UK, Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) plays a key role in the British Army’s platform modernisation programmes. This robust local presence ensures seamless support for the armed forces and strengthens local value creation.
