Instructions on withdrawal for the regular supply of goods

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the first goods. Of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, which is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. We will bear the cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Special notes on exercising the right of withdrawal for subscriptions that include simultaneous use of print and online offerings (e.g. annual Print + Digital subscription)

When print and online offerings are used in combination, only withdrawal from the entire package (print and online) at the same time is possible. For combination offers, the withdrawal period does not begin upon conclusion of the subscription, but upon receipt of the first print issue.

Non-existence or expiry of the right of withdrawal for single deliveries

The right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, except for subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires for contracts for the supply of digital deliveries and services (e.g. downloads) if, before placing your order, you expressly confirmed that performance of the contract would begin before the end of the withdrawal period and you acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon the start of performance.
