This gives NASA confidence for a new Starliner mission

As was announced in parallel with the relative success of the Starship flight, NASA intends to use the once crisis-plagued Starliner spacecraft to bring astronauts back to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2028. Before that, an uncrewed test mission with the spacecraft developed and built by the U.S. company Boeing is planned for later this year (or early 2027), Isaacman said at a press conference.

Isaacman: “We have worked closely with Boeing to eliminate the issues identified on previous Starliner flights!” Parts of the spacecraft are reportedly being redesigned for this. And NASA is firmly planning to fly with Starliner again to the International Space Station and to future commercial destinations.
