Teoresi GmbH has acquired Delta System Solutions GmbH with effect from 1 October. Delta, headquartered in Munich with a further branch in Wildau near Berlin, specialises in safety and reliability assessments for complete systems and subsystems in safety-critical sectors, with a particular focus on the aerospace sector. The 17 engineers at the company, which was founded in 2013, investigate and assess, amongst other things, the safety of systems, including the interaction between hardware, software and mechanical components.
The services offered to clients in 15 countries to date include technical analyses and calculations, development guidelines and design documentation to support the certification process. With a focus on Safety, they also help write industry standards for the next generation of aircraft and systems, including unmanned aircraft systems, electrical, hybrid and hydrogen propulsion.
Teoresi: An internationally active group in technology development
With this specialist expertise, Delta complements Teoresi’s steady growth trajectory. Founded in 1987 as an IT consultancy, the company is now an international engineering group with more than 1,300 employees, supporting clients in the development of projects using state-of-the-art technologies: from electric and autonomous vehicles to AI in medical diagnostics.
With its comprehensive expertise in the fields of engineering and machine learning, Teoresi focuses on the development of machine intelligence. Specifically, the group offers design, development and technology consultancy services and supports its clients from the initial analysis through to the final product realisation – from the initial idea to the prototype and from the prototype to market launch.
Strengthening its presence in Germany and within the aerospace sector
Since 2023, the group has also been growing through external expansion, driven by strategic acquisitions – as is now the case with Delta. “The acquisition of Delta represents an important step towards growth for us in two respects,” says Francesco Cianelli, CEO Teoresi GmbH: “On the one hand, by integrating Delta, we are once again strengthening our presence in Germany, where, in addition to our headquarters in Munich, we have offices in Stuttgart, Berlin and Ingolstadt. On the other hand, with Delta’s specialised portfolio, we are expanding the range of services we offer to customers worldwide and opening new doors for ourselves in the aerospace sector. In this forward-looking industry, Germany is set to become the Teoresi Group’s centre of excellence.”
Supporting the Group’s growth and harnessing local synergies
Stuart Baskcomb, Co-founder and Co-director Delta sees the integration into the Teoresi Group as a win-win situation from which the customers of both companies will benefit: “As part of a globally established company such as Teoresi, we are significantly expanding our potential customer base and, conversely, can contribute to the Group’s further growth with our expertise.” Co-founder and Co-Director Robert Muirhead adds: “We are focusing on long-term synergy effects, to which geographical proximity will also contribute. With our offices in Munich and near Berlin, we are based where Teoresi also operates, and together we can develop customer-focused solutions.”
Teoresi Germany: Steady growth further continues
In 2025, Teoresi GmbH further strengthened its position despite a challenging market environment, achieving a turnover of 4.3 million euros. This marked a continuation of the steady growth in recent years. Since 2023, this growth has averaged 9.2 per cent; for 2026 an increase of 10.8 per cent is forecast. 58 per cent of this turnover is attributable to the automotive sector and 42 per cent to railway technology. In both sectors, Teoresi provides leading manufacturers with the expertise of its currently 44 employees at its four German sites in the fields of embedded electronics, mechanical systems and digitalisation.
Teoresi also relied on recognised local expertise for this recent transaction. For tax and financial matters, Teoresi collaborated with the Munich-based consultancy Rödl, led by partner Tobias Neukirchner. The also Munich-based law firm Hupe Ganteberg, which specialises in commercial law, acted as legal adviser under the leadership of partner Philipp Ganteberg and associate Isabella Schmidt.
