Hensoldt picked up Nedinsco in March

In March, Hensoldt also signed an agreement to acquire the Dutch optronics specialist Nedinsco. The aim is to secure critical supply chains. In addition, the acquisition of Nedinsco strengthens the technical capabilities in a strategically relevant segment and supports the further expansion of production capacities. Nedinsco has sites in Venlo and Eindhoven, employs around 140 people and develops and manufactures electro-optical sensor systems - including periscopes, driver vision systems and subsystems for optronic sensor units.

Hensoldt looks positively to the future

The company expects business development to remain positive in the current year. In view of the unchanged conservative planning of project milestones and the dynamic ramp-up, the forecast for all relevant key figures is also confirmed. The Hensoldt Group expects sales of around EUR 2,750 million and a book-to-bill ratio of 1.5× to 2.0×. The adjusted EBITDA margin is expected to reach 18.5 to 19 percent. Hensoldt believes that the ongoing high level of investment in European security and defense capabilities will continue to ensure robust demand.
