From Bavarian drone labs and AI stacks in Berlin to localised production lines in Lviv and Kyiv, a German‑led drone coalition spanning Ukraine is shaping the industrial and digital foundations of NATO’s future UAV force. In the Baltics, Estonian integrators and service providers are extending that backbone northwards, turning the region into a forward laboratory for NATO’s unmanned operations. A blueprint for a distributed, swarm‑ready UAV architecture is turning drone manufacturing into a frontline capability. By the summer of 2026, this shift has become evident.
