At Eurosatory, the world's largest defence technology exhibition held in France, Lithuanian defence technology company RSI Europe signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ukrainian defence technology developer The Fourth Law (TFL), agreeing to develop joint drone manufacturing in Lithuania under the ‘Build with Ukraine’ framework.

The memorandum was signed by RSI Europe co-founder and CEO Tomas Milašauskas and The Fourth Law Director of UAS Unit Yaroslav Tkachuk.

The memorandum of understanding provides that RSI Europe will prepare manufacturing facilities and, drawing on technologies developed by TFL, will produce thousands of drones. Priority in hiring personnel for the production of these drones will be given to Ukrainian citizens.

"The partnership with TFL, leaders in the integration of computer vision and artificial intelligence into drone control, is important both for strengthening Ukraine's combat capability and for developing the modern battlefield ready capabilities of NATO's eastern flank," says T. Milašauskas.

Under the memorandum of understanding, TFL would support the project with drone manufacturing and artificial intelligence technologies (to take place once the necessary conditions are met). TFL would also provide ongoing battlefield feedback to support technological improvements and keep the products relevant throughout their production lifecycle.

"This partnership under the 'Build with Ukraine' project is aligned with Ukraine's national interests to strengthen defence technology supply chains for Ukraine and contribute to the security of Eastern Europe. We are pleased to open a possibility to collaborate with a company that has already demonstrated its ability to produce high-quality defence technologies at scale and maintains constant contact with Ukrainian soldiers," says Yaroslav Tkachuk.
