Together with Renault Group Thales is presenting 4 TROOP, a prototype version of the VCMR1 vehicle adapted to meet new operational requirements for land forces. The project draws on Renault Group's technological and industrial know-how and Thales's state-of-the-art secure onboard communications and connectivity technologies to develop a new generation of rugged multi-mission vehicles that can be produced quickly and at optimum cost.

With integrated UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) systems, advanced sensors, hybrid secure communications solutions and AI-enabled decision aids, the vehicle will augment land forces capabilities for enhanced perception, faster reaction times and greater operational efficiency.

As battlefields become more connected and threats such as drones become ubiquitous, military vehicles need to be capable of meeting multiple mission needs, including detecting threats, sharing information, supporting autonomous systems and integrating new technologies quickly.

The Bushmaster 5.6 has been developed to fulfil this role, rapidly evolving into a highly connected sensor and effector platform ready for the demands of modern and future warfare, by adding powerful offensive capabilities to its traditional defensive role, such as Thales laser guided rockets, for example. With this upgrade, the Bushmaster family will combine its combat-proven protected mobility and agility with offensive capability against new threats.

Gladiator Training Data Analytics

The new “Gladiator Training Data Analytics” solution leverages artificial intelligence to convert complex, high-volume training data into clear, actionable insights – enabling more effective post-training debriefings and continuous improvement of soldier performance.

This platform aggregates data from the exercise control system (Excon), integrating sensor inputs from soldiers, vehicles, drones and infrastructure, enabling a comprehensive, reliable, and shared view of field events for both trainees and instructors, empowering informed decisions and elevating operational performance.

RapidStriker

Thales also launches the RapidStriker in response to the ubiquitous threat of drones. RapidStriker is a comprehensive, coherent and scalable solution combining advanced 360°detection, automated fire control and drone neutralisation. It provides the forces with a mobile capacity for rapid, accurate and adaptable reaction, essential in the face of contemporary air threats of high intensity. It includes detection, fire control and effectors such as rockets, small calibre cannon and remotely operated ammunition allowing a complementarity of effects.
