3D printing as a strategic factor in defence

Representatives from the Finnish and Belgian armies will provide insights into their AM strategies. Qualification concepts, "in situ" process monitoring as well as simulations of logistical processes and realised use cases will be discussed. The event will conclude with a defence panel discussion with international experts from the military, industry and research. In addition to the Aerospace & Defence Forum, other forums at the Rapid.Tech 3D Congress will also provide insights into other new AM developments and applications. Product and service demonstrations and discussions in small groups will also be the focus in Hall 2 - at the exhibitors' stands, during technical deep dive tours and at expert tables, Messe Erfurt concludes.
